Hello, my name is Sheryl Baber Evans. I am recent graduate from the School of Library and Information Science from ESU with a focus on archiving.

I have been married (to a Law Librarian) for 14 years and I have two children ages 13 and 3, both of whom love reading and music.

This portfolio will be about what I have learned in the SLIM program and what I hope to accomplish in my career in librarianship. I entered the program thinking I would be a children’s librarian since I had several years of experience as an Early Childhood Education professional. However, I become enamoured by the simplicity, organization, and importance of the archiving field. Perhaps I will be able to combine my enjoyment of children’s librarianship and archiving by becoming an archivist of children’s literature.

  1. Wow! A hot librarian. I’m in love. Quick, hand me a book.

  2. Just saw your email on the slim-alum list about your husband. Happy Birthday to him and congratulations on his induction into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame – how incredibly impressive (and waaaayyy cool, too! : )
